I graduated from St Andrews University with Honours in Music in 1976. I took up the organ in 1972, studying with William Stevenson organist of St Mary’s, Dundee, then University Organist St Andrews. Since 1980, I have assisted at Dunblane Cathedral accompanying at services and directing the choir when required. Having followed a successful teaching career I decided to go freelance in 1996. Since then I have made myself available to play at weddings and funerals and other church services, travelling all over central Scotland when and where required.

Part of the service I offer is, that if I am already booked, I undertake to supply you with another professional organist. I also have a professional mobile keyboard which means I can play in venues that do not possess an organ such as hotels, public halls etc.

This keyboard also doubles as a piano, so I often stay on after playing at wedding services to provide ''cocktail' piano background music during wedding meals and at other functions.
